You don't need to use JDOffice for any part of this process. The cards must have 4KB clusters. There are Instructions for Formating a Deere GS1 Card that you can follow and check your current card structure. Likewise, you don't have to setup your farms and fields in advance. And you don't even have to change farms and fields as you move from one field to the next. I think any alternative software package you might look at would be able to split out the data spatially, even if it is call called from the same field. About the only thing you really need to do is keep it set on the right crop. My two cents... if you already have the processor, throw on a cheap GPS receiver, format a card big enough to hold your full fall, and get the data. You can decide later if you want to use it or not.
