yes you can transfer it. I had a 252 reciever hooked to a ez guide and last fall traded the 252 for a 500. the dealer called it in then I had to call in the newserial # to trtansfer it to. Subscription moved with in minutes. they're all computer generated codes so can be done fast and easy.
I believe he is talking about the $3000 fee to upgrade the EZ-Guide 500 from WAAS to Omnistar. I do not believe you can transfer that. If you are talking about the annual Omnistar subscription, I believe that is transferable from one unit to a different one if you replace it. |
