Madision County, IL | I would think working together would provide a greater benefit to both companies and their customers.
Agleader would sell more yield monitor kits by selling components to Trimble. Trimble would sell more Ez-Steer systems and high end GPS receivers.
The combination would also lock other companies out in some situations. This situation makes me question the long term relationship between AgLeader and Trimble.
We have looked at competitive steerings systems in the last couple of weeks (mojoRTK and Smartrax). If the Insight controlled the ez-steer we would'nt even consider other companies.
Did Trimble decide to allow mojoRTK to control the Ez-Steer? I cannot imagine they would feel comfortable with that situation.
Oh well. I guess we can only hope.
