Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I'm not familiar with this system but I would think there would be a significant delay in restarting the planting.
Take for example a Deere planter as is pictured on the website. If the vacuum is turned off by the butterfly, planting to those rows would stop. When planting is restarted I believe there would be a significant delay before the cells got reloaded and progressed to the drop point. I would think this would require a fairly major lead time.
On the Trucount air clutch system the clutch assembly only needs to turn 1/6 of a revolution at most to engage. |
