Darian is correct in all comments. First year or maybe a little longer, of S-2 shipments had the taller antenna. It will work, but not as well as the "flatter" antenna.
Mike, I would contact you're local dealer or "Outback Guidance Center" and see if they can help you out any. Hopefully you bought that unit from them.
