You are correct. You can run AccuBoom with no additional hardware when running a single boom application. The other requirement is the use of either a Fast-Close or PWM-Close valve. The Viper can achieve this because it is just turning the control valve on/off; it is not cycling multiple sections (which requires additional hardware).
