Subject: RE: 20-24 ft. feeder trailers

I bought a T&T Quality Buildings made 20' trailer at a local farm show for $4,000. I believe they are a shop in Nebraska who make portable buildings and feeders and bunks. The think is made like a tank, all schedule 40 steel pipe and an overlapped pan in the bottom for strength. Definitely made by a farmer. The others I looked at don't even compare as most are made with tubing and not actual pipe and structural steel, and this one was priced the same as the H&S's and others. It is a little pricey, but I'm feeding 50 cows on mine and once you use it you will not ever want to use rings again. Plus it is nice to just dump some wet gluten, distillers or silage on the bottom, then throw a couple bales of hay or straw on top.
