Go ahead and get the assisted steering you will not regret it. I spent two years chasing the lights on a lightbar and at the end of the day my eyes would hurt. Also couldn't look back for fear of driving off the line.

I am using an EZ 500 and Ez steer and love it. I use it in a JD 8310 for a 30'drill and in a JD 7820 for a 3pt 60' sprayer. Sometimes have to move the line after stopping to fill, but easy to do.

I also looked at (and liked) the Raven Envizio and Quicktrax steering, but didn't like the idea of pulling the steering wheel to switch the quicktrax.

Good luck, Jeff
