The FMD automatically will display the message Auto seed failed when the omnistar autoseed is enabled. I was told that wilth a future release this spring that will be fixed. As far as the unit not converging, have your dealer tech check to see that the reciver is picking up the L2 signal when unit is booted. There was a hardware update to certain sn 252's, mabey yours needs to have this update if it was missed.
