North Cental Mo. | Never been around a self catch powder river, but I do have a powder river system in one pen, I love it, except for the catch, formost has them beat there, and this is on a manual, I never did trust the self catch. (although I do have one in the barn to work sick cattle) I don't know anything about the other model you mentioned. I'd ask about the weight of each model, and probably buy the heaviest one. Formost has a website, maybe you should look there, I'm sure they have a list of dealers. You won't go wrong with either brand.
