Woodham, Ontario | This is a first for us, we just had a calf "born" with 2 heads!
The cow was working on it for a while but was not progressing at all. My dad felt inside her and found 2 legs and 2 heads! After feeling around a bit by brother concluded they were attached to eachother! Was still alive too!.
Called the vet and he put down the calf (still inside the mom), then we cut off one of the heads and after guiding the remainder of the second neck the rest came out. it had 2 fully developed heads and 2 spines that ran almost the whole length! The vet is just a recent grad so he had never seen this before and actually had a picture of him taken with it. | |
