Carter Montana | For those of you losing sleep at night thinking about this stuff, I'm wanting to use the built in GPS controller function in my Insight using my Trimble 132 with the Parallel swathing option.
Any way to do this through port configuration or a cabling fix. AL said I don't need the autopilot unlock but they referred me to Trimble, where I hit a dead end. My hunch is a cable fix that allows the lightbar cable to interface with a Null Modem cable out of the Insight distribution cable, along with some port configuration.
I don't gain performance by doing so but do eliminate the lightbar keypad and make it monumentally easier to modify any 132 receiver settings while bouncing down the field. Would be a slick outfit if anyone knows. It would probably work for any of the "off color" 132's from Case and Raven also.
