Hillsboro, AL | I will be installing a control system in a Patriot SPX3185 soon. I intend to install a Trimble NavII/Insight system. We will use product control and auto swath along with auto pilot. The Patriot currently has a Raven SCS 460 in it.
* Will this install require the Direct Command switch box (SC110)? I would rather use the switches on the Patriot for boom control. I think I have read that you can plug the Insight directly into the Raven harness and go. I hope this is the case, because I want to be able to reinstall the Raven and use it during the time the Insight is in the planter tractor for planter logging.
* Will auto swath work without the SC110?
Has anyone heard any sneak previews about Trimble’s January releases?
* Will they be releasing anything with the data logging capabilities to match the InSight?
* Anything like Seed Command or Direct Command coming from them?
