Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I would agree with the above comments. I use an Insight for the sprayer situation and do not use EZ-Boom.
I prefer the Insight over the EZ-Guide 500 for use with autopilot applications. Understand that the Insight, EZ-Guide 500. EZ-Guide+ as well as Trimble's Field Manager Display and several others can all run the Trimble autopilot The Insight cannot run EZ-Steer or EZ-Boom.
Trimble does not make a Yield Monitor. The EZ-Guide+ or the EZ-Guide 500 could be the GPS source for an Insight for any of its applications. A problem that can arise is that the EZ-Guide+ or 500 is being used elsewhere for steering at the time it is needed in the combine.
