I've noticed the same peculiarities of pic sizes too,some as large as 600,000 which must be resized, but XP makes it a breeze, others are downloaded from camera under 100,000. I always check them before resizing, and no matter what it resizes it to, it seems to come out on the forum pics the same size. Anyone 'splain that one.
