Eastern Ontario | It sure looks like seed corn maggot, guess i should have checked the corn section in my books. They say that they are attracted to manured fields because of the smell, but I have not applied any manure to that field. It's probably the liquid fish that was applied at planting that's attracting them. I could only find them in that field. It's a lighter ground ,so that might have something to do with it. I'll keep an eye on that field for next year. Thanks for the help guys.
