Instructions on " How to make a Mapdot"
1- Right click on one of the Source Maps from below 2- Click on Save Image As
3- Select Desktop as your destination folder 4- If you minimize your browser, you should see the Map file on your desktop 5- Go back to your browser and type: www.picnik.com in the adress bar and press enter. 6- Click on " Get started now" 7- Click on " Upload Photo" 8- A small box appears 9- Select Desktop in the top line of the box 10- Select your Source Map 11- Click Open 12- The image has now uploaded to the website 13- Zoom into th e image until you can see your area clearly 14- Click on the Create Tab 15- Click on the Text Tab 16- Just type the character ( . ) into the text box 17- Click Add 18- Click on a color of your choice ( most use red ) 19- You should now see a red dot on top of your map 20- Move and resize it to your location 21- Click on the Edit Tab 22- Click on the Crop Tab 23- Zoom out 24- In the two boxes next to "Actual size" enter the number 120 in each box 25- Put a checkmark beside " Scale photo" 26- Now select the area you would like to use as your Mapdot by resizing the white hylighted box 27- Click on OK 28- Click on the Save and Share Tab 29- Type " Mapdot" in the line under File Name 30- Click Save Photo 31- Select Desktop in the first line 32- Click Save 33- You are now done with that website 34- Minimize your browser and see if you can find your Mapdot 35- Got to New AgTalk Forums Page 36- Click on Control Panel 37- On the right hand side look for the box called " Upload Mapdot" 38- Click on Browse 39- Select Desktop in the top line 40- Select your Mapdot and click Open 41- Click on Go 42- Congratulations, you now have a new Mapdot
