Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Due to your need for Radar speed on the 8310 when the EZ-Guide 500 might not be available, I would recommend one of the standalone speed GPS units such as a Skytrak.

The branch off of the EZ-Guide 500 would work fine but obviously not be availabe when the EZ-Guide 500 is not present in that tractor.

Since the Skytrak can be moved so easily, it is a very flexible choice and could be used as a speed input device for other future activities in other tractors, trucks etc.

In my own personal case, my Deere radar is still working but I suspect it to fail. At that time I will probably use the branch off of my EZ-Guide 500. In my case the EZ-Guide 500 never leaves the 8310 so I'm not in quite the same situation.
