I have been told the samething by a person that should know. I haven't planted the 2540 but have had quite a bit of 6395. Two years it was my best corn, last year it was my worst,. Wasn't going to plant any this year but the dealer talked me in to planting a little just to see if last year was a fluke. One thing for sure 6395 doesn't like wet feet.
