Subject: No till rye

Bonanza, Or
Will it work to no till rye seed? I have heard that rye just doesn't do well unless the ground has been worked at least lightly. These are pivot corners that are rye year after year. Does that make a difference with rye? My reason for wanting to no till them is that the ground is wet enough that it will be hard to make a decent seedbed if we till it. If we can no till it the top several inches are dry enough to be real nice. TIA
