Subject: RE: NH3 and urea prices??

Ste. Rose, MB
.41 for NH3, .46 for urea... can't get anymore NH3 from Brandon, was told Co-op has to start trucking their anhydrous from Calgary... I dunno, haven't talked to the co-op dudes this week. Yeah calf prices have gone to hell... happy we sold our steers in September, at the time the price seemed crummy compared to previous years, but now, this is really ****... high Canadian dollar (or is it really low US dollar) & high commodity prices aren't friends of the cowcalf producer. Guys with the 400lbs calves @ a buck a pound arent covering expenses, guess the big calves always do bring more... ah mixed farming, always one end that is low.
