DKC 63-42 outyielded 61-69 30 bu. in my Dekalb test plot. 61-69 had serious stalk issues in several of my other fields. 63-42 had a good stalk and root.
Funny how things work. "Here" (ECIL) 61-69 beat 63-42 by around 20 bushel or better on whole farms. 66/69's stalks were a little suspect but the yields were unbelievable. I'd guess in a 25 mile radius of me (to my knowledge) there will be in excess of 50% 61-69 planted here next year. Probably close to that figure planted to 61-66 this year. It was untouchable. 39/42 was the closest thing to it in our area. |
