We have also been blessed (or cursed) by very dry springs down south and spreading north. These affect the spore viability.

The first great step is to have freezes down south and then have low humidity as we move into the season. As long as the innoculation happens late enough in the season, the effects are minimal, if measurable. That's why the sentinal plots are such a great idea so that we can identify in time.
