the antenna should be as far forward as possible for best steering control. the bin extension is further aft than optimal. Ive also noticed the bin extension vibrates a lot which does not produce a stable position. to reduce blockage from the bin extension put the antenna as far forward as possible on the roof- maybe even forwrd on an extension.
