Harvesting in frozen conditions is not really difficult, one of the advantages is excellent floatability if the fields are not soaked wet. Residual humidity on stalks and leaves can become a difficulty to deal with.
On the other hand, frost and defrost if your corn is not perfectly ripe can lead to high sanitary problems, but on ripe corn, humidity will be all the lower!
