Subject: RE: RR Alfalfa

Boone, Iowa
A recent letter I received from Monsanto is stating that USDA is planning on this environmental impact study will take 24 months to complete. Any roundup alfalfa must be labeled if it is sold and moved off the farm to a broker or someone that is not the end user. If you are using it for your own feed or directly to the end user no labeling is needed, but must inform the buyer it is RR alfalfa, eventhough it is FDA approved for feeding. If you move haying equipment off of the farm, from field to field, equipment must be cleaned before moving out of field.
