Subject: % shrink for moisture

North Central Indiana
How do you guys figure % shrink for moisture in corn? The way I've done it for years is; ((wet bu. * .01176)*(actual moist - 15))= shrink bu. I have always come up with the same amount of shink as the local elevators with this formula. This year one elevator doesn't match. The one load I noticed it on is as follows; ((1012.5 bu. * .01176)*(16.8% - 15%)= 21.43 bu. of shrink. Those amounts on their ticket show over 28 bu. of shrink. How do you guys figure it and what do you come up with on 1012.5 bu. wet corn a 16.8% moisture shrunk to 15%?? TIA
