If you are planting some of Walter Moss's seed you will be pleased.
I saw some growing in the Brazos bottom in an earlier wet year. They had to cut it for silage because it was so large when the WX & ground was dry enough to get to the crop.

There is or was a cattle back grounding outfit that fed the brown midrib silage and claimed it out yielded corn and the cattle did better on it.

All my knowledge is from observations as I only grow bermudagrass for hay plus some alfalfa.
