| I dont like the wide screen monitors. It takes a really big one to show as much as what you can see on a standard monitor. A 19 wide is so much shorter than a 19 standard that when you open up a web page or a document you see very little of it..................but what you do see is wide. As for how the proportions of things on the screen appear......you have to choose the propper resolution or things will not look right.............not sure how that works for a wide screen TV...................but do know on PC monitors you need to be sure your resolution is set for a widescreen format. The wide screen thing is new and trendy..............and a bit pricey...............For the money I woiuld get a nice 19" flat panel.......if you want wide, get 2 of them and run a dual desktop setup...................I couldnt live without mine.
