They wouldn't take the elevator's grade here a few years ago-had to keep samples from every load. Samples went to a federal grade setup in Evansville. As you already know, every sample taken from the master sample from a truck will be different from another sample-same load. It was worse than pulling teeth to get the insurance right. Some guys were leaving the probe stand and coming back later to get sampled again-same load-sometimes tested clear-sometimes worse than before. For those who get caught with aflotoxin, you have my deepest sympathy. Luckily, if corn isn't food grain, they seldom get out the black light. 20 parts/billion = almost like finding a nail in a 24 ft bin full of corn. | |
