| You are talking about two different things here. The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool does not install on your system. It does a scan of active memory from the update site. Only if it finds anything does it do a more complete scan. It does not put a program on your system that you can run. The other is a program you can down load and use. Maybe this will make it easier to understand why you cant find it.
