NW Tennessee | Tom is right. It was defoliated, but with drouth stressed cotton it's hard to knock the leaves off. Then we got rain and with the warm weather and residual N that wasn't used up, re-growth was really a problem. Plus, I used Dropp to control re-growth. It needs to be on 24 hrs. before rain, and that field got rain about six hours after spraying. That field actually made a little over a bale. It did a little better than it looked, thank goodness. |
