Answers to questions:
Grown on 38" beds, variety is Phytogen 72, there is ~185,000 Ac. of Acala, 35,000 Ac. of upland, 260,000 Ac. of Pima.
80 - 85 cent cotton is usually achieved for the Acala, because a premium is paid for the extra length & strength + having a lower Mic. Pima prices should be around $1.00 - $1.10 /lb this year (at least that is what the brokers are saying).
