| Your owner's manual is referring to loss behind the separator which will vary depending on the size of the combine. I bet you have a JD combine. JD has about the poorest operator's manuals that I have ever seen and they are unclear on what they are actually saying, but they mean behind the separator. 2 kernals per sq. ft. is roughly 1 bushel of loss, but that is an average across the width of your head. | |
