Subject: RE: Fertilizer shortage

Chebanse, IL.....

Locally they tell me the problem is both Potash & Dap, but that Potash may be the biggest problem to get for our dealers.

We don't have $4 corn here, but I feel sure this is an oppurtunity taken by fertilizer companies. We often hear that our fertilizer is going now to China instead. How much are they paying for it? Can anyone tell us factually? If they're paying more than $300/T after being shipped to their farm...how much are they getting for their crops? I'd assume poverty no longer exists in the farming communities of China?

Obviously I do not believe that we are being outbid by Chinese for fertilizer. They need to try another story....like maybe the refinery caught on fire.....again. Sound familiar?
