Not sure, but I think Mike rolled his beans after planting with large diamator smooth drum roller. It is done for a couple of reasons. 1. to smooth the ground/rows so the head can get as low as possable to get all the low pods/beans 2. to push rocks down/out so the head doesn't pick them up.
