Yep on both questions.
I live on my Great Grandparents homestead. When my Grandpa was around 85 years old, he decided he wanted "All those Damn Rocks" gathered up and brought up to the buildings. He and I spent one fall pushing them up on a stone boat and pulling them home and then used two front end loaders to set them up. They always remind me of that fall we spent doing it.
