If it stalled the motor when you choked I'd say the belt tension is OK. If it slipped/burned the belt it could be too loose or the spring on the rotor pulleys may be weak. We've had them go bad and cause all kinds of belt slippage problems.

We picked up about 15 acres of down rice today. I think this was the biggest spot we've got but every field seems to have a little scattered here and there.
