I have the same thing happen to me with my laptop. My wireless keybaord and mouse are connected via USB cable. All I have to do is unplug the usb cable from the back of the laptop...wait a few seconds and plug it back in and then it takes off again. I'm not sure what connection type yours is but either way it doesn't solve you're dilema.

I would suggest going to the manufactuers website and download the latest drivers for the keyboard and try that and see if it helps.
