Brush and weeds are first choice. They will eat grass if there are no weeds.
In Central Texas they mix well with cattle or horses, to keep the weeds down while the cattle &/or horses eat the grass.
I say plant what is the popular pasture crop. Throw in 4 or 5 different kinds of legumes for variety & quality. | |
