I cut a small field of beans yesterday that tested 14% moisture.  Sent a new operator out to cut a test on another field today.  By the time I got there, he had about 75 bu. of wet beans in the combine bin. &$%$!

Now what to do with them.  Will they dry much if I spread them on the bottom of the truck and park it in the sun?  It will probably make a layer about 6-8" deep.....will they dry or mold?  Guessing them to be about 18-20%.  Will pull a sample to test later today..........

 (edit...beans tested 19.1% and the kid will shovel again tomorrow. )
