Boone, Iowa | The landlord wants to raise the cash rent by a substancial amount. It would force me to grow corn on corn and the yield he is using would be 17 bu/acre higher than my proven yields. His thought is if I did not produce the figure he is using, crop insurance would pay me the difference. I am trying to show him different yields under the 75% coverage, which is still affordable to show him the crop insurance will not pay the difference. | |
