roaming | the cables are different for 2588 and 8010. it sounds like your customer had the 132s connected to maybe a 2388 in the past. If so, you can reuse the existing cabling for the 2588, but you'll need a 5-pin gender adapter. Wire A-A, B-D, C-C, D-B, and E-E.
For the 8010, you need to get the Tx into pin E on the 10-pincombine GPS connector. You'll probably need to use 87382742, but if you're using this cable with a standard power/data cable, you also need a null modem gender adapter, because the serial connector on the 87382742 cable is wired with pin 3 as Tx. (like for an EZ-Guide Plus lightbar)
You can also connect the receivers via CAN on either machine, but the cabling is gosh-awful expensive... | |
