Mississippi

I included the Commercial-Appeal link later when I found it, and the original statement from Cullum and Lawhon didn't include any mention of Monsanto.

Since Delta King evidently owed money to Monsanto, this may be one way that Monsanto is collecting. It could help bolster their DPL soybean lines. They've had an ongoing breeding program, but it's always been overshadowed by cotton. There also was the rumor that maybe Lawhon had a stake in Cullum, so maybe that has something to do with why some varieties went there.

It will be interesting to see which varieties settle with which companies.
