Subject: How many hours per acre do you figure

Boone, Iowa
I am trying to figure out a number to use in a spreadsheet that figures my break even prices. I was going to use 2 hours/acre for corn on corn, which would be field cultivating twice in the spring, planting, post spraying, combining and trucking, chiseling and fall NH3. I have 42 ft field cultivator, 16 row planter, 80 ft booms on post sprayer and 8 row corn head.
