East Central Ia | Got the new combine out out in the field this morning to make sure everything works and to get some corn to feed the hogs.
Very surprised but there is virtually no green left in the stalk. This is at least a week to ten days earlier then normal for us.

Very pleased with what I saw... not my best ground and it had a 3'' pounding rain 3 days after I planted it that crusted and reduced my stand about 20-25%. This did not have any fungicide either.
Always happy when the early corn does 200.
Be a week or two before everyone starts rolling hard around here I would think... good think because I still to get some things done! :) | |
