southern Illinois | I didnt get as many pic s as i ment to but i always enjoy others. we cleaned greased and oiled the corn head and put it back in its corner of the shed today. got done earlier than we have ever started before, corn was 11 per cent moisture today, try not to grind that.
It lost about a point a day starting at 17 a few days ago. corn made from 75 to 140. test weight 54 to 61.
didnt matter if it was 105 day corn or 120 day it was all dry. cooked dry
note how black the combine got, looked like it had burnt by the time i got done. sorry didnt get any of the combine but you can see the augers black.
