Driftless SW Wisconsin

Paul,

I've had the same situation. One approach is to get it mowed quickly and low to keep the weeds from setting seed. Then let it grow back enough to get some leaf - maybe 4-6" tall. Then hit it with a pretty good rate of Roundup + 2,4-D as a burndown. In the fall is the time to get dandelions if they are a problem. Should be great for strip tilling in the spring. How is this year's strip tilled crop coming along? Especially the corn on corn as dry as it was in your area during the growing season.
