Subject: Re: Fertilizer value of Ash from Benton, MN Turkey litter power plant

There was an article in the last issue of The Land paper, it lists the analyisis at 0-10-8, with 2 S, 3Magnesium, .5 ZN and trace of calcium. The article did not list the Ph value, but did cite several field tests of the product. The target pricing is to be $4-7/acre under conventional. The trade off would be that it has to be spread as a stand alone product through a spinner; N application as urea would be a seperate pass.
