Subject: My brother is near Frankfort and ........

East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.)
He said his corn was crisped/cooked in July for extreme lack of rain. Haven't talked to him in awhile, don't know what shape his beans are in. I think he is 20 some miles North of Indianapolis.

"Here", we got some early rain, and some late rain, so, the corn is gonna make something, not expecting any yeild records on corn, but will be something there to harvest, anyways which is areal GOOD thing. The beans look generally pretty good in the area, with several around trying for DC beans after wheat, which are in full flower now. I suppose depends on frost date for them.

Here is Columbiana County, OH right next to PA border(5 min walk). Farming in Columbiana and Mahoning Co. OH and Lawrence and Beaver Co. in PA.

Have Fun!..............The Dumb Farmer
